Good morning...

I wanted to let DTA know that I am interested in joining your group.

Many of you already know me because I have been around forever. I have been in several clans over the eight years I have been playing Quake: DoD, |DA|, and DRC are some of them. (B*S knows me from our |DA| days.) I took a year off from Quake and started playing again about three months ago.

When I restarted playing, I had no clan identity so I assumed the name of pedro. So many of you played with and against me over the past three months. I hope you won't hold getting beaten by an ol' fart against me.

Now for a little about me:

I'm 65 years old and live in SouthCentral PA. I retired last October from my job as an IT Specialist with the US Army, so that allows me to play a lot. Win or lose, I really enjoy the Quake competition. If you beat me, I will congratulate you. If I win, I won't rub your nose in dog ****. That's the way I am.

I like to support my player community. That means I support my clan as best I can -- by helping with forum, playing in matches, and helping younger players get better.

I have other contact info. If DTA thinks I am worthy of membership, I will provide additional contact information when I join. (I don't think it is a good idea to throw that info out on an area that is open to anyone.) If the membership decides to add my Quake skills and friendship to their clan, I would like to use my sfRVN name -- it has special meaning for me.

well i know sfVRN he is old school he was a god when i was just a fucking noob , i like his style of play .. i think is a great player and very good person !!! good luck sfVRN

I used several, but Stud Muffin was *not* one of them! I used sfRVN primarily, but also used Geezer (can you guess why??) and SlowHand. 'Oldie' used to call me "Slowbot" because of my aim.



And yes... I remember playing a number of the people in DTA -- including you sir.
